This October 2010 companion study to the Defence Review 2009, prepared by MAJGEN (rtd) Lou Gardiner ONZN, focuses on the role of the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) in youth development programmes generally and specifically in regard to the New Zealand Cadet Force.
The study examines what the NZDF is delivering in the area of youth development, its effectiveness in this sector, and whether there is scope for expansion as well as the gaps, if any, in the NZDF's ability to deliver the effective youth development programmes.
