Defence has welcomed two more new Hercules C-130J-30 aircraft to New Zealand.
The first aircraft in the fleet of five landed at Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Base Auckland, Whenuapai, in New Zealand in early September.
The last two aircraft are scheduled to wing their way home from the Lockheed Martin factory in Georgia, United States, before the end of the year.
The two most recent aircraft that landed in New Zealand are tail numbers NZ7012 and NZ7013.
Their flight to New Zealand was also a trial and development flight, and they carried a range of spares and support equipment for the RNZAF, including four propellers, two engines and a towing arm.
